Your initial response should be about 400 words (not including direct quotes or bibliographic references) and is due by 11:59PM EDT on Thursday. Your analysis should demonstrate your understanding of the assigned readings, and should reference/cite them where appropriate. Feel free to use direct quotes to support your argument, but note that these quotes do not count toward the 400 word-count. Please include a bibliography in your chosen format (APA, APSA, CMoS, anything appropriate for the social sciences…so not MLA) at the end of your response. You don’t need to use outside sources, but if you do, be sure to include them in the bibliography.
