When we look at CAM there are some areas of limitation when it comes to acceptance of the use of these various therapies. The discussion for this week if for you to look into the individuals responsible for bringing CAM to the general population and discussing how they worked to create understanding and acceptance. For your discussion I want you to choose TWO of the following individuals listed in Chapter 6 that worked as early pioneers in CAM:

Deepak Chopra Give a background of the individual, including their education, and their medical focus; then discuss how they fostered understanding of CAM in our society. What policies did they help implement? What aspects of CAM were their areas of interest and passion, and how are those foci incorporated into our current health care system? How has their influence paved the way for others to facilitate CAM therapies now and in the future?
