Visit the Texas legislature’s website or simply google and search for Texas Constitutional Amendments between the years 1990-2021. You will will need to look under or identify joint resolutions/constitutional amendments. You can also use the Texas Secretary of State website, Ballotpedia.com, or other online resources to your liking. Choose one of the amendments between years 1990-2021, (that has already been voted on by the citizens) and review the voting data from the election (Statewide Voting Results From Texas Citizens). You will need to go to the Texas Secretary of State’s website to view statewide election results or Ballotpedia.com. Write a two-page essay describing the amendment and its purpose. You must include pros and cons, any demographics, party voting, statewide voting results from the citizens, and explain the challenges and/or bias that confronted the amendment process. Lasty include why you support or do not support the amendments.
