Please see draft below. Please let me know if you have any questions
I have been in my current position as a clerk for eight years. As a trainer for the clerks, I have seen several of them get promoted or transferred to a better place. In the readings, “Good leadership also involves touching others’ feelings” (page 9). Being a positive influence to help succeed and encourage others to be better each day is the most critical role. I possess certain leadership traits, such as being a role model, providing direction and motivation, and maintaining a positive attitude toward my peers. I help them think outside of the box.
Leadership does come more naturally than management.
I enjoy inspiring others to have self-confidence. I developed these traits over time. While growing up, when I did have close friends, I was the one that brought people together. I wouldn’t say I like seeing other friendships tear apart. It is essential to address their interests and concerns. I use my strengths to lead and be an inspiration. The video, “Leadership is not a position, and it’s something you do,” stood out to me. It is something we choose and the action we decide to take.
