In this letter explain your concern about the situation as an NGO representative working in your adopted country. The NGO (see below for clarification) can be one already associated with Global Health or it can be a fictitious NGO you create. The your position or role within the NGO can be fictitious, However, the name of the WHO Regional Director must be the name of the current director overseeing your Adopted Country – (Google who these directors are)
Your letter is to be an ethical argument of concern in support of giving this health disparity stronger attention by the WHO region. Assume the director already knows about the problem but you feel needs more specific information regarding your adopted country. Use factual information retrieved from reliable resources to support your argument. Put thought into how you are wording your letter. Be careful not to rely on your personal moral views, opinions or judgements about what is happening in your Adopted Country. Rely instead on information and use it to strengthen your argument in place of lengthy explanations (for example: statistics, examples, other types of research, critical thinking, logical persuasion) Stay focused on the health disparity or the injustice as a health issue.
