Your assignment is to collect research on your top CareerLeader Career Match results. Answer the following questions using multiple resources such as the Webster University library articles and databases, the Occupational Outlook Handbook, O*NET, professional publications, or other trustworthy resources. There are no wrong answers, but all answers must be completed with reasonable and detailed answers. Remember, this course is specific to your own career exploration. Make it count! Question 1 (11 points)
Using your CareerLeader Career Match profile, choose two of your top five matches that interest you the most and search for jobs that are in or similar to those matches.
List two of your Career Matches (ideally those labeled as “Very High”).
Identify a growing industry that fits each of those Career Matches.
List three related job titles for each of your chosen Career Matches and provide a brief description for each job.
Question 2 (15 points)
Choose three of the jobs you identified in the previous question and look them up in the Occupational Outlook Handbook and/or O*NET. Answer the following questions using your own words (do not copy/paste the information directly from the website).
Describe the typical tasks involved in that career.
Describe the work environment.
Describe how to be eligible for the career. Note key requirements such as experiences, degrees, or certifications needed to enter the career. What is the median annual wage?
What is the job outlook? Question 3 (6 points)
For each of the three jobs you described in the previous question, identify two companies that hire for such jobs.
