Our second project requires you to develop sample social media content (content should be determined by what is appropriate by what platforms you’ve chosen, your target users, etc.) that represents your ideas from the first project. Social Media Campaign
For this project, you will create a mini social campaign for your community by brainstorming a core strategy statement and messaging framework.
Draft and revise a core strategy statement and messaging framework as a guide (we will do some of this in the modules). Compose 6 posts for the social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) that you think best 1) reach the appropriate audience, 2) offer the best affordances for showcasing the type of information the audience will want to see, 3) provide the community with the kinds of posts they find useful, and 4) will encourage engagement and circulation.
Posts should be composed to reflect the actual affordances of each media channel (while you don’t need to actually circulate the posts on the accounts, they should look the way they would in the channel. With most platforms or channels, you can set a post to private so that only you or a small group of people can see–this approach is also an option for your campaign. The posts should work together to shape a positive perception of the community. Specifically, the short paragraph should include how the post fits into the overall story, the platform for the post (and why that platform), the content & multimodal aspects of the post (text, visuals, links, hashtags, etc. and how it adheres to your core strategy statement and messaging framework). Make sure to include your core strategy statement and messaging framework at the top of the document).

What to submit: Your social media campaign should be professionally designed and well organized. Use HATS and CRAP in your design, including your document design. I suggest you create a .pdf through Canva or InDesign.
