This entire semester we have been reading and writing about romantic love. So what have you concluded from our class study? Is love just a fantasy, something that we hope to be true? Or a reality, for those who are lucky or who work hard to make it true? Is romantic love a socially-constructed illusion or merely an elaborate rationalization for physical desire? How might love be a result of a complex combination of emotion, culture, psychology, and chemistry? In an essay of 3+ pages, discuss how your writing and reflection have influenced your thinking about love. You should reference at least three of the texts that we’ve discussed this semester, including “The Loving Poems,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Shakespeare in Love,” “Against Love,” “The Story of an Hour,” “Cancel Marriage,” “Love is Biological Bribery,” “Brown Sugar” etc. Of course, there’s no precise way to do this. Indeed, you might conclude that “I didn’t learn she-it about love, mofo!” Fair enough, just write honestly and thoughtfully, and in reference to our class. Also, be mindful that your paper should be submitted as a polished prose piece, observing MLA college academic conventions, (including heading, spacing, formatting, etc.), supported with direct quotations examples, etc., though you needn’t include sources outside of our class texts unless you feel so inclined.
Write about “Agaist Love”, “Love is Biological Bribery”,”Cancel Marriage”. The links are below for the first 2 articles the third one is the romeo and juliet movie
