Requirements of Research Draft Three: METHODOLOGY
(25 POINTS)
Directions: Write the third section of your proposal according to the requirements listed below and the overall requirements of the proposal. This section should be 2-3 pages of written text but should be no more than three pages. Name the file (Methodology_your last name) and upload it to the Week Seven Drop Box in Canvas by the date and time indicated.
A NOTE ON THIS SECTION: This section’s purpose is to describe the methodology used in conducting your research and gathering the data. You need to be specific and fully disclose the methodology you use. You will need to justify your choice of methodology using articles and citations (the text readings may be used for these justifications.) Below is a list of SPECIFIC elements to be included in the section.
REQUIREMENTS:
Clearly indicate the methods used to gather data and the reasons you chose for using those methods.
The draft should be double-spaced, should have page numbers and a header in the top right corner of the page, should follow APA style for any citations used, and should include revisions to the section one INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY draft AND the section two draft LITERATURE REVIEW which were previously turned in. In other words, combine all the drafts together so that you are building the research proposal as we go!

Introduction about one paragraph
Research Questions (repeated from section 1) about one paragraph
Hypotheses (what you hypothesize about the data/expected to find) about one paragraph
Research Procedures (how will you go about the study? Type of method and study) about one page
Particpants (describe them fully)
Sample Selection Techniques (describe fully)
Administration of the Survey (describe fully) (QUANTITATIVE)
Description of the Interview Protocol (describe fully) (QUALITATIVE)
Data Analysis (how you will analyze the data -stats) about two to three paragraphs
Ethical Considerations (how you will maintain ethics of human subjects research ) one developed paragraph
