Dear Students, please choose one topic from among the three listed below. Compose a thoughtful and carefully edited response using concrete and specific references to the text of Brecht’s play to support your ideas. Feel free to use quotation when you find that doing so will help clarify and provide evidence in support of the idea(s) you wish to discuss. At the same time, I’d like to see you exercise your own linguistic muscles, thereby avoid becoming over-reliant on quotation. Dependent upon which of the three prompts you select, include specific references, using quotation and or summary, to the additional readings that I have provided. In addition, provide a Works Cited page. Finally, take care not to plagiarize.
Regarding the length of your paper, I always say…whatever it takes to present your thoughts. I think that 3 pages + your Works Cited list should suffice for this assignment, and if you should require more space to explain your ideas that’s fineThe truth of science and the truth of religion are in conflict throughout Galileo.
