TOPIC: Same-Sex Marriage
After in depth research into the chosen topic, students are to engage in a dialectical approach to the topic. The students should evaluate the wisdom of the truth presented in the teaching of the Church This paper should focus on two main aspects:
– First, the student should display what the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church is on this specific matter, making the distinctions and nuances that have been discussed in class.
– Secondly, the student should present three (3) specific sources of this teaching from the deposit of faith, spoken about in the first class (Scripture, writings of the saints, documents of the popes and councils, teachings of episcopal conferences, etc.)
The paper is to be 6 pages, double spaced, Times New Roman, size 12 with 1-inch margins. Citations are required for any books, articles, or other works that are cited.
