Cover Page(1 page) – includes the Project Title, Your Name, Semester of Independent Study, if working with an External Agency the name and contact information of the Site Agency, Supervisor’s Name & Contact Information;
Introduction (1 -2 pages) – provide a brief description of the project. If working with an External Agency, include a summary of the services/programs provided by the agency/company you worked with;
Literature Review (5 – 7 pages) – what does the literature reveal regarding the project and/or the topic that you’ve selected? The use of APA citation is required for identifying your sources.
Analysis/Reflection (4 – 6 pages) – this section conveys your analysis/reflection at the conclusion of the project and should answer the question … “so what have you learned based on this experience” …? Additionally, what was the benefit and impact on you, the organization that you completed your independent study with, or others based on this project? Were you able to connect theory with practice based on the outcome of this project?
Project Summary (1 – 2 pages) – this is a summary of the project that includes a review of what has been done to produce this paper along with some observations and recommendations based on the outcome of this project.
Appendices (1 – 2 pages) – appendices to denote specialized information used to complete this project
