Option A: Although women have come a long way in the ability to express and control their sexual lives, our culture, along with
most in the world, still hold women and men to different standards. Discuss the “sexual double standard” and the reasons given to
support it and some of the consequences. How does gender ideology (ideas about masculinity and femininity) contribute and
support the sexual double standard.

choose two states that have strong rights for LGBTQIA individuals and two states that do not. What are the implications of living in the
states that have weak laws or even laws that actively discriminate based on gender and sexual identity/orientation.
