Marketing tries to make protein supplements look like it’s the healthiest thing you can eat. However, the more protein you eat won’t increase muscle mass or make you healthier. It is essential to get protein but some people tend to over consume protein. The problem with this is that if your body gets too much protein it will store it as fat. In contras, if you don’t eat enough protein you could also gain weight. It is important to come to understand your body and figure out how much protein your body needs to stay active and well.
